Zoning Board approves variance relief for pool and home projects

Zoning Board of Adjustments · Meeting of June 3, 2026

NJ MONTVILLE — Montville Zoning Board approves two major variance applications during June hearing. The board unanimously approved Susan Sabatino's application for 21 Gunthers View to construct a swimming pool, patio, shed, and fencing with variance relief for multiple setback requirements on a through lot with dual front-yard configurations due to Alpine Road abutment. The board also unanimously approved Donna LoGrasso's application for Brook Valley Road to construct a new single-family home on a pre-existing undersized lot, with variance relief for front and rear setbacks and driveway width, conditional on a 15-foot driveway and reforestation plan.

The board extended approvals for Desir and Polyuko to April 1, 2027, and carried a gas station application to July 1.
