NJ MONTVILLE — Montville Township Committee introduces $3 million capital improvements bond. The five-member board unanimously introduced Ordinance 2026-16 on May 26, appropriating $3.022 million for township capital improvements and authorizing $2.312 million in bonds or notes for financing. Under Chairman Frank W.
Cooney's leadership, the committee also unanimously approved a change order for the Barney Lane and Forest Place Storm Drain Improvements, increasing contractor D.S. Meyer's contract from $455,531.50 to $493,831.50 to correct a unit price discrepancy. The board also authorized a $99,202 purchase of automatic license plate reader cameras for police.
