Subcommittee approves two redevelopment plans for board review

Planning Board · Meeting of May 28, 2026

NJ MONTVILLE — Montville Master Plan Subcommittee unanimously approves two redevelopment plans for board consideration. The Main Road, Daldunn Road, and River Road plan increases the affordable housing set-aside from 15 percent to 20 percent. The project at 17 Chapin Road maintains current zoning uses but establishes specific setback, height, and lot-size requirements, excluding data centers, detention centers, and retail.

Both recommendations move to the Planning Board for its June 11 meeting.
