Planning Board elects Lewis as chairman for final term

NJ MONTVILLE — Montville Planning Board reorganizes with annual leadership appointments for 2026. Gary Lewis was unanimously elected chairman for what he noted will be his final four-year term, with Arthur Maggio as Vice Chairman, Jane Mowles as Secretary, and Kelley Kehoe as Recording Secretary. Michael Carroll was appointed Board Attorney, Joseph Burgis as Board Planner, Jamie Giurintano as Board Engineer, and Paul Ferriero as Board Conflict Engineer.
In other business, the board approved a waiver for Bagels & Beyond Café at 191 Changebridge Road, a 2,400-square-foot space with four employees and 12 seats maximum operating 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, and granted Sterling Montville development a third extension to January 13, 2027.
