NJ MONTVILLE — Montville settles affordable housing litigation; six zoning ordinances advance. Mayor Frank W. Cooney and the Township Committee unanimously authorized settlement agreements resolving fourth round affordable housing obligations, withdrawing its appeal and securing 13 additional affordable housing units without increased density through settlements with Diversified Properties, LLC, JMC Investments, LLC, and Sterling Properties, LLC.
The committee introduced six ordinances addressing affordable housing, development fees, and zoning modifications with public hearings set for March 10. The committee also adopted three ordinances on final reading and approved professional services contracts totaling $30,876.21 in new expenditures.
