Montville approves $5.3M in utility bonds for infrastructure

NJ MONTVILLE — Montville approves $5.3M in utility infrastructure bonds. The Township Committee unanimously voted to authorize $3.2 million in bonds for water utility improvements and $2.425 million for sewer improvements through paired ordinances adopted June 23. The Committee also unanimously approved a $498,000 capital expenditure from the Open Space, Recreation and Farmland Dedicated Trust Fund.
Chairman Frank W. Cooney led the Committee in certifying the 2025 annual audit with zero audit recommendations for the tenth consecutive year and adopted two redevelopment plans affecting properties on Route 202 and Chapin Road.
