Environmental Commission elects Kornreich chairman, approves 2026 schedule

NJ MONTVILLE — Montville Environmental Commission elects Dr. Lawrence Kornreich chairman and Joseph Daughtry vice chairman. The commission approved its 2026 monthly meeting schedule and authorized approximately $200 in funding for an Arbor Day third-grade seedling program.

The commission will conduct environmental reviews of two development applications: a gas station renovation at 858 Route 202 and a residential reconstruction project at 10 Nowak Lane. Two deer crossing warning signs have been installed on Route 202, with two more scheduled for Changebridge Road.
