Environmental Commission approves prior minutes, advances forestation project

NJ MONTVILLE — Montville Environmental Commission votes unanimously to approve minutes, advances forestation project. Dr. Lawrence Kornreich reported the town encourages the commission to proceed with a forestation initiative, with coordination planned between the Environmental Commission, the High School Earth Club, and a member of ANJEC with relevant experience.

The Planning Board separately approved a site plan for Crest Terrace after considering the commission's stormwater runoff recommendations. Commission member Marie Fragomeni noted a recent grant deadline conflict but plans to pursue funding in the next annual cycle, including a potential low-profile dog station project.
