Commission approves permit responses, initiates aquifer monitoring

NJ MONTVILLE — Montville Environmental Commission approves permit responses, moves to monitor aquifer amid drought. The five-member Environmental Commission voted unanimously to approve responses to PSE&G permit applications for right-of-way maintenance at two locations: 10 Nowak Lane and 858 Route 202, Towaco. As the U.S.

Drought Monitor designates the area "D2 Severe Drought," Commission Chair Dr. Lawrence Kornreich was tasked with contacting the Land Use Department to establish aquifer level monitoring, per the advocacy of Commission member Pam Misiewicz. The approved responses will be forwarded to Jane Mowles and the developers' attorney.
